With the release CLANN’s new single “Closer”, it feels like an invitation. An invitation back to the world of KIN Fables, the name of their debut album released in 2015, accompanied by a stunning short film trilogy; a project as melancholic as it is epic, as haunting as it is beautiful. The word clann comes from Old Irish, meaning family – indeed, the family of collaborators responsible for this visual/musical odyssey returns with the signature ethereal vocals of Charlotte Oleena, as though singing words from an unknown or long forgotten language, and heart-wringing string performances by violinist Chloe Picard. The upcoming album titled “Seelie” is to be released by House of Youth Records.
