Champyons is a 3-piece band and producer collective based in New York City and Berlin. Inspired by the great artist collectives of the pop-art and early hip-hop era, Champyons incorporates RnB, Rock and electronic elements into a collage of popular culture and musical references, combining traditional song and sample-driven beat-making for a sound that transcends classic genre definitions. After self-releasing their first single “Roaming in Paris” in December 2014 and signing with Berlin based label Embassy of Music the year after, Champyons is gearing up for their first full-length release in early 2018, collaborating with renowned artist and sculptor Michael Sailstorfer.
