JetBelly is a project of bassist Scott Montgomery, based in Studio City, CA; It’s #indie #powerpop #rock and even vaguely #psychedelic in various combinations, most of it written and recorded while traveling.
Scott takes a guitar, recording interface, and a AKG C214 mic pretty much anywhere in the world if they’ll let it on the plane, so songs or pieces of songs have been recorded in odd corners of Nashville and Paris, Providence and Provence, Kauai and St Martin and dozens of other cities. Mostly in rentals and hotel rooms.
