StoneBoat is the brainchild of an Irish musician now living in Shanghai who started out in guitar bands and since then enthusiastically joined the computer music revolution without throwing away the guitar.
StoneBoat is influenced by the philosophy of John Moriarty, the spirit of Julian Cope, experimental and guitar music of all kinds, and night-time thinking. The StoneBoat sound ranges from Indie Electronic, to Rock and Experimental music.
A previous song of mine “Son” from the album “Provisional Mooves” was featured in the well-known blogger Mp3 hugger’s songs of the year back in 2011. A couple of releases from the most recent album were featured on the YouTube channel “Curved Flow” and SoundCloud channel “Vibes After Music” amongst others.
