Face Today, by Responders

Responders are a five-piece indie-rock group from the Boston area. The band consists of drums, bass, two guitars, and vocals. They come from a diverse background of music, showcasing genres including Jazz, Funk, Blues, and Soul.

Their focus in these genres has shaped their sound and musicality. For years the band members’ drive has been to make music together. After many attempts of trial and error, Responders’ new EP represents those efforts

“Although we did three takes of Face Today, we used the first take for the final recording as well as for most of the tracks heard on the EP,” the band explains. “This track, as well as the three others, were recorded live, with no metronome. We felt this would convey a more natural energetic feel to the music.”
