New York-based artist, Girl As Wave, serves up dark, synth-tinged indie-electro rock with dreamy vocals, driving bass lines and the occasional surfed-out guitar.
After years of writing minimal, experimental folk, she began collaborating with producer/multi-instrumentalist, Jimmy Deer, resulting in her debut EP, Poison Vines And Nectar. Released as a series of singles over, the four-track collection explores themes of change and it’s side effects. The EP and it’s fourth single, Another Life, were released November 2018.
