Video Shoppe is a two-piece band from Providence, Rhode Island and are known for performing live with more TVs and VCRs than amplifiers.
Their music attempts to navigate the sea of time; an object influenced by perspective, distance, and wonder. Sounds of past technology and hazy memories are evoked by the juxtaposition of shimmering guitars, blown out bass rhythms, and fluttery synths. 2018 saw the release of Video Shoppe’s EP, ‘Nostalgia Trap(s).’
