Front man Travis’ vocals flow effortlessly over the electronic production, working in perfect harmony with the infectious beat and funky guitar lines, however despite the dreamy, synth driven sound of the track, the message behind ‘Just Say Something’ has a much darker tone.
When asked about the writing process, Travis stated: “We want to make music that is important to the current situation of teens and young adults. Love, anxiety, and depression. These are the three catalysts which my lyrics consist of, and what most of the people I know struggle with in their daily lives. I want the music to be real and raw because that’s how life is, and I don’t want to cover any of that up.”
Although only two tracks deep, the trio have already gained a loyal fan base, and with their ever-evolving sound ‘Just Say Something!’ is set to be their strongest release to date.
