Hailing from Bristol and Cambridge, the two met by chance whilst studying in the South West and instantly formed a connection over a shared love of dark sounds and sombre lyrics. The pair wasted minimal time in moving to London to pursue music where they officially formed the band. They kicked things off in 2019 by self-releasing two singles ‘Save Me’ and ‘Adrenaline’, the former supported with a sold-out launch show in London, and put a heavy focus on writing for the remainder of the year.
The debut EP was made with producer Jake Murray at Strongroom Studios in London. First single ‘Static’ was released on February 28th, which has already gained support from Spotify’s New Pop UK and Alt. Pop. playlists, as well as press support from When The Horn Blows, Gigsoup and It’s All Indie. The second single ‘Closer’ released on April 3rd gained support from Clash Magazine, Elevator, When The Horn Blows Peachy Magazine, CLOUT, and radio play from BBC Introducing in Cambridgeshire.
The pair recently supported Ásgeir at Shepherds Bush Empire and will be playing their headline EP launch show on November 12th at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters.
