Informed in equal parts by the rambling energy of early garage rock coupled with the simple sounds and harmonies of the 1960s, Frass Green, comprised of Joe Antoshak (rhythm guitar, vocals), Tyler Rippel (bass, keys, vocals), Antonio Peluso (drums) and Matt Lachance (lead guitar, violin, vocals), makes basement beach pop from the heart of Washington, D.C.
In March 2018, the four-piece took to the stage together for the first time. Bringing a Teenage Fan Club-Esque presence to the stage, and with self-deprecating wit, they quickly developed a local fan base and began playing shows at some of the best venues in D.C. By the end of the year, the band had established itself as one of the city’s most promising young acts.
