With a string of releases planned for the next few months, Stevie will be travelling and zooming to work with the friends she made in the different places she’s lived. ‘Because of my mother’s English roots, I’ve never felt entirely Dutch. I love The Netherlands, but I grew up in between different cultures and was always travelling between these two countries. Therefore the choice was easy for me to make to leave the country when I turned 18 and pursue my musical dreams in Berlin’.
Via Berlin, Stevie Bill moved to New York City where she now studies at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Her melodies and lyrics are always in motion, inspired by contemporary artists such as Post Malone and Clairo and 90’s RnB singers like Toni Braxton and TLC, the music Stevie grew up with. Stevie wants her music to be relatable to her peers, telling stories about ambition, self-doubt, friendships and living in a dorm room with strangers.
