Distant Blue have become a prominent name in Nottingham’s local music scene over the last few years, especially since the release of their EP ‘MYMINDISOUTOFME’ in October 2019. Following the release, the boys took off on a UK tour visiting cities such as Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield, leaving their mark in every city along the way.

From pop-punk to alt-rock, Distant Blue never fail to surprise us with their ever-evolving sound. From recording songs in the bedroom to selling out Rough Trade and Bodega, the boys in the band are really taking the industry on by storm, one city at a time. Starting out as a bit of fun between lead singer Ed Binding and drummer Peter Wronko in secondary school, they began to quickly draw attention.

Over the years they have added guitarist Kieran Hodnett and then bass player Jack Bratby to the line-up. Known for their hard-hitting sound and energetic live performances, they have gathered a loyal fanbase across the years, with people coming from across the UK to catch their shows and stream their songs, with their debut single ‘Amber Leaf’ having reached over 10K streams on Spotify. After taking the time to work hard in the studio, the four-piece are finally back and ready with a new mantra of music coming your way.
