In the heat of the moment, you look back and think “wow, I’ve done something wrong that ended this thing,” but later come to understand that it’s totally valid that they don’t want to be with you, for whatever the reason is.

Whether you’re falling in love or losing someone in your life, there can be this sense that you’re spiralling out of control.
