With his curly, blonde hair and an undeniable charming in-your-face attitude, Mattias Kolstrup is one of the most recognizable rockstars in his native Denmark. Riding an unstoppable creative wave, ‘Moon Child Set On The Sun’, is setting a lighter and more optimistic tone – compared to the darker twin-album – without completely abandoning Kolstrup’s trademark Scandinavian melancholy and a veil of Liberty-mystery to be discovered. The new album touches on themes of modern masculinity, hope and of course love.
