Dahl Haus weaves dream pop with deftly updated touches of goth and grunge to craft moody, angsty songs that are driven by emotionally-charged vocals, and ripple with electronic noise, distortion, and the occasional cult film soundbite. Traverse their dark musical soundscape and you’ll encounter sudden flashes of sparkling light and lyrics that shapeshift through the drama of love with a restless soul.

Singer/songwriter/producer Blaise Dahl has toured as the bassist for the solo projects of Jennie Vee (Eagles of Death Metal, Courtney Love) and replacement bassist for the Slim Jim Phantom Trio. She’s worked with artists Jesse Krakow (Shudder to Think), Eric Slick (Dr Dog), Joe McGinty (Psychedelic Furs), Pat Irwin (The B-52s), Mike Peters (The Alarm), Nona Hendryx (LaBelle), and even sang on a special commission for the Brooklyn Philharmonic. Not surprisingly, subtle glimpses of Dahl’s social conscience often bleed through her lyrics.

She’s served on two public outreach programs for MTV: at 16, as an original member of the network’s anti-bullying platform, A Thin Line, and, later, as a panel member for MTV’s anti-bias initiative, Look Different. A hardcore horror film fan– her songs have sampled dialogue from “Night of the Creeps” and “Evil Dead II”– Dahl also co-hosts/co-produces a horror podcast called ‘Top Kvlt.’

Lead guitarist Daniel Kasshu was a touring guitarist for Death Valley High and fronts his own band, Mevius, where Dahl joins him on guitar. He’s an in-demand DJ, producer, and remix artist.
