A compelling idiosyncratic uniqueness
Connor P, full name Connor Pregowski, has been producing music from his bedroom in Edinburgh, Scotland for a most of his adult life, but it wouldn’t be until early 2022 however until he found a sound that felt like his own.
Independent artist Connor P has a style that is inherently modern but draws influence from the past – a music lover at heart with a taste for classic disco, funk and indie.
A multi-instrumentalist who cut his teeth playing in the local gigging scene, Connor takes a true DIY ethos to his music, writing and producing his own tracks, along with also creating the visual aspect, including his own album art and music videos.
Endless Night, the first track from his upcoming mini-album, which is due to be released collectively later this year, speaks about the idea of endlessly prolonging euphoric excess and the desperation to keep it alive. The track has an undeniable Nile Rodgers influence, but the deep Scottish baritone voice creates a very compelling idiosyncratic uniqueness that listeners will find themselves drawn to.
