Janna Pelle is a keyboardist, singer, drummer, guitarist and producer from Miami, Florida.

After a pandemic move from Brooklyn to Sullivan County, NY, Janna has set up roots and fully established her home studio in the woods. She has released three full-length albums to date and is currently working on her first fully self-produced album, to be released later this year. She is most heavily influenced by Tame Impala and Lady Gaga (calling herself ‘Fame Impala‘ as a homage) and aspires to avenge Karen Carpenter’s death as a fellow singing drummer.

In the midst of the pandemic, Pelle temporarily returned to her childhood home in Miami and recorded the first notes of this song on the piano she grew up on, adding soaring synths and a vocal synth chorus to the nostalgic soundscape shortly after. After establishing her home studio in the NY woods, she recorded the drums, having only become a drummer during quarantine.

The lyrics are inspired by her late father’s most common greeting phrase, “your ever-loving Dad,” but are extended to apply to the idea of for-“Ever” in general; whether it be with respect to love for a partner that exists here on Earth, or love that transcends it.
