Zack Avicenne grew up in the south of France. He discovered music at the age of 14 with the drums where his sense of rhythm was selected during a school performance.

Because of the noise caused by the instrument, his parents decided to offer him an acoustic guitar that he will never let go. Autodicat musician, he started to play the electric guitar 6 hours a day for 1 year to be able to play pieces of “guitar heroes” such as Slash, Joe Satriani or Steve Vai. He played in 2 rock bands: Over Zat and Pay me Robber, which do not exist anymore.

At 18 Zack suffers from severe tinnitus and has to stop playing music for several months. In order to overcome hardship, he immerses himself in classical music and discovers jazz. He started learning the piano on his own, inspired in particular by the artist Jamie Cullum.

At 23 years old, Zack has other health problems that force him to postpone his desire for a musical career. During this period, he decided to improve the mastery of his instruments by listening to several different styles, and by training in virtual orchestras. Recovered from health at 28, he decided to release his first album “Time is not a reason” in reference to the time spent and the need to persevere, in order to achieve his goals.

Henceforth, Zack is motivated more than ever to share his work by releasing music of various styles, while keeping his musical imprint located between Jazz and Rock.
