Meet MIHI NIHIL, the emerging band consisting of Mihi Vox on vocals, Benjamin Montoya on guitar, Nick Steinberg on bass, and Adam Alt on drums.

Their self-titled debut album, produced by Adam Lasus (known for his work with Yo La Tengo, Lilys, Madder Rose, and Army Navy), arrived digitally on April 15, 2021. The album skyrocketed to #1 on Amazon, #15 on iTunes, and #18 on the NACC most added chart. This achievement was accompanied by radio/publication support in over 17 countries.

To add to their accolades, the LP was included on the 2021 Grammy ballot for Best Alternative Music Album.

The band’s latest offering, “So Please,” is a representation of their sonic exploration. MIHI NIHIL describes the song as a landscape of canyons and colors of sundown, with a love for the classics and a good story. The track weaves between soul, country, goth, and punk, showcasing the band’s diverse musical influences. The song’s lyrics touch on themes of love and loss, questioning the value of life when love is gone.
