“Race Car” touts a glistening, summer-friendly sort of feel that centers around the excellent “I’ve got race cars going through my mind,” hook. There’s a captivating shift at 03:37, too, that offers up some catching melodic variation.
“I began writing the music of Eternity in the midst of an evolution,” Joseph Tyler explains. “Born out of experimenting with the nostalgic and colorful sounds created by synth arpeggiators, I discovered a vibrant world of inspiration to pull from. It became the perfect backdrop for an honest look at the thoughts, feelings, and fears racing through my head at that time.”

“It’s about being in love. It’s about growing up. It’s about the ebb and flow I experience while making music. It’s about the importance of creating eternal memories with the people, places, and things that mean the most to me.”
Eternity was recorded in Joseph Tyler’s home studio, with ample help from longtime collaborator Jordan Davis.
