“The whole album was recorded in my room (besides the live drum pieces),” Zac explains. “Almost every song went through 3 different versions of itself until it made the last stop at where it is now. Everything was played by me, guitar, bass, drums, sax, vocals.”
California-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Zac Apollo focuses on creating a world based around timeless, organic, honest music. A place for the listener to let them know it’s OK to be yourself in your own little world, and out. With a work ethic many have described only as “prolific,” he is constantly growing and improving his musical style.
Fusing together multiple genres, Zac Apollo is influenced after music industry game changers, ranging from Joni Mitchell to Frank Ocean, Prince to The Neptunes, and The Soulquarians to Sly & The Family Stone. Similar to most of these artists, he tends to write, play and produce all his own material. Through the music, the hopes of people discovering themselves, accepting who they are and to completely embrace it will always be a never-ending goal.
