Swedish artist Emanuel Tägil produces a striking sound on new track “I Remember Now,” featuring a captivating vocal presence and gripping build-up. The vocals have an unsettling though melodic sharpness, accompanied by striking lyrical imagery and an assortment of keys and guitars.
The ominous, captivating mood is thoroughly successful. Tägil is influenced by ’80s synth music, post-punk, ’90s Norwegian black metal, church music and lo-fi singer/songwriter.
