“Kartel Sco whose name is Kartrell Scott is a Songwriter, Rapper, Singer, Record Producer from the small bustling Hampton Roads area City of Portsmouth Virginia.
He first got into record producing at the tender age of 8 years old when he would record himself and his little sister on cassette tapes rapping over the top songs at the time. However, a short time after Kartel turned away from music and turned to the streets which lead to him pleading guilty in 2012 for robbery and firearm charges.
Kartel $co is arguably one of the top unsigned artists of this generation because of his songwriting and vocal abilities to flawlessly combine this generation’s style of rap with witty lyricism from the golden age of rap while offering thug R&B vocals over Trap Soul beats earning him the moniker as the "Trap Keith Sweat” Kartel has had his music featured in the “New Music Review” section of the August 2019 issue of Music Connection magazine, receiving a solid score of 8.2 on a scale of one to ten.
