In only a short period of time Jada has become the most promising artist on the Danish music scene. In 2018 she released her critically acclaimed debut single ‘Keep Cool’ and in 2019 she won her first award: the P3 talent award at P3 Gold – the Danish equivalent to BBC Sound Of.
Since then Jada has won no less than 12 awards for her unique talent and music.
Jada has released her new single ‘I’m Back’. The track follows her latest single ‘On Me’ and the massive radio success ‘Nudes’ that spent 8 weeks as #1 on the Danish Airplay Chart.
On ‘I’m Back’, Jada sings openly about a feeling that most people can relate to: the feeling of doubting yourself. However, the dominating theme in the song is trusting yourself, being true to who you are and not caring about what other people may think. Or as Jada sings: “Take it or leave it, I’m Back!”
“I’m Back is about getting through a process. It’s about doubting yourself and losing balance and then finding the way back to yourself again. It’s also about how I relate to judgmental voices both from the outside and from within myself. It’s a song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, but it was hard to describe the nuances of both taking things in and getting hit by the words and at the same time shaking them off again and not really caring about what other people think,” Jada says.
The upcoming single ’I’m Back’ fits well into Jada’s personal and honest universe that has already captivated both Danish and foreign reviewers, media and fans – and which have made her the voice of a whole generation of young people, who relate and gain confidence through Jada’s uplifting and authentic music. And there is no doubt: if you ever doubt yourself, Jada’s new single will lift you up.
With more than 30 million global streams and as the upcoming opening act of Orange Scene at Roskilde Festival 2021, Jada has proven that she is more than ready to cross borders and conquer the big music stages worldwide with her captivating sound, personality and unique universe.
