ISHA GIDDA’s “MEMORIES” Marks a Hauntingly Beautiful New Single and UK BBC Radio Favourite
Emerging singer-songwriter ISHA GIDDA is making waves with her latest single, “MEMORIES,” which marks her first release of the year.
Following the success of her previous track, “Better Days,” which amassed over 10,000 streams on Spotify, “MEMORIES” has already been making an impact on the airwaves, receiving airplay on BBC Radio Introducing East Midlands and being named “chillout track of the week.”
The hauntingly beautiful single, which GIDDA created using music software in her bedroom, is a testament to her talent as both a songwriter and a producer. With its unique instrumental and mesmerizing vocals, “MEMORIES” showcases GIDDA’s ability to create a sound that is both ethereal and catchy, a rare combination in today’s music scene.
As GIDDA explains, the inspiration for the song came from her personal experiences: “The lyrics came to me after I was reminiscing through my own photos and other bits I kept in my box,” she recently revealed in an interview with BBC Radio Leicester’s Jack Rafferty.
Since its release in January, “MEMORIES” has garnered praise from listeners and critics alike, with Dean Jackson of BBC Radio Nottingham describing it as “mesmerising.” This is the fourth single from GIDDA to receive airplay, and with plans to release more music, including a possible EP, it’s clear that this rising star is just getting started.
