Alternative indie singer-songwriter Marko Ilijic’s new track Addiction is a journey of deep introspective thought laid bare to the listener.

“I would love for you to hear this it means something to me and it should mean something to everyone asking well. a lot of people struggle and go through addiction and this song does and the show is what addiction does to the people surrounding them and the dangers that it puts people through. It took me a while to understand why my mom acted like this and it was because she wanted cigarettes and whatever she could take to keep that high.”

Marko’s mother died in 2019 from her additions leaving Marko confused and mentally disturbed and heartbroken. He would have only wanted the best for her and I know she would have wanted the same.
