In 2023, Pauliq is set to release a concept mini-album entitled “Rowan”, a collaboration with artists from the UK, USA, France, and Denmark.

The album is based on the idea that anyone can become a conductor of creative energy and change the world for the better. The third single from the EP, “Fields”, was written in partnership with British singer Freya Alley.

“Fields” was the first track written for “Rowan.” The song captures the moment when a person is left alone with their thoughts before thoughts even arise. This is the moment of insight that Pauliq and Freya Alley sought to capture in the lyrics and music.

Pauliq is a London-based musician, producer, and DJ. He set up a studio in a rented Shoreditch apartment, where he creates introspective and melodic electronic music that reflects his personal experiences travelling across continents. He blends hip-hop techniques with his love for classic British electronics, such as Massive Attack, UNKLE, Everything But The Girl, and Boards Of Canada, and presents his work in a diary-like narrative filled with emotional experiences. His groovy and moody electronic pieces reflect thoughts and feelings on life’s essential challenges, including love and relationships, relocation and competition, and new possibilities and better choices.
